The Advisory Board of the Regional Agency for the Development of Research, Technology, and Innovation (Arditi) visited M-ITI on July 24. This visit was part of a one-day meeting that included visits to other institutions, such as the Oceanic Observatory of Madeira (OOM).
Among the renowned guests were Henrique Cabral, Full Professor of the Faculty of Science of the University of Lisbon, and director of the Center for Marine and Environmental Sciences (MARE); Pedro Saraiva, Full Professor at the University of Coimbra; Eng. Vítor Barros, the main researcher at the National Institute of Agrarian and Veterinary Research (INIAV); and Eng. Melim Mendes, a specialist in energy, and the responsible for the introduction of alternative energy in Madeira. Accompanying the visit was the Regional Secretary for Education, Jorge Carvalho.
