The Doctoral Symposium 2018 was organised by M-ITI members and took place at the Casa de Saúde Câmara Pestana, on October 20 this year. Each Ph.D. candidate presented their research so far and have received feedback from M-ITI Faculty and audience. The invited keynote speaker, Dr. Raymond Bond, enriched this day's insights. Coffee breaks, lunch and dinner were convenient networking opportunities for the attendees. In the end, after the audience's votes, awards were attributed to Ph.D. candidates for different categories recognition.

In the end, Afonso Gonçalves won the Best Presentation award and others received honorable mentions voted by the audience: John Muñoz - Presentation Flow award, Ana Caraban - Scientific Method; Vanessa Cesário - Visual Presentation; and John Muñoz - Speaking Skills.
