M-ITI was one of the institutions that celebrated the European Researchers' Night on September 28 2018, taking part in an event organized by the University of Madeira (UMa). M-ITI researchers were in La Vie Shopping Center (Funchal) from 2 pm to 10 pm demonstrating and talking about several projects they are involved in namingly SMILE, Fragments of Laura, POSEIDON, and the CTP and NeuroRehab Lab teams.
UMa organized this event through an European project called MacaroNight - Macaronesia’s Researchers’ Night, financed by Marie Curie Skłodowska Actions. This event is similar to the one organised by ARDITI every year in November, Science in the Market (Ciência no Mercado), which purpose is to disseminate European scientific culture and attract future generations to take up a scientific career.
Next year, UMa will be organizing another event on the last Friday of September in order to celebrate this night.
