Research Projects

The FI-MAC project focuses on improving the capacity of the SMEs of Macaronesia in the use, exploitation and exploration of the Internet of the Future in general and of the fundamental and free platform FIWARE in particular, with the aim of accelerating the real internationalization of the SMEs of Macaronesia and improve their level of competitiveness, both regionally, nationally and internationally.
Without the access of the SMEs of Macaronesia on equal terms regarding these tools, and without access to the networks creation value at European level, the real internationalization of our companies will be a concern. The public administration of the Macaronesian region must provide its companies with the necessary knowledge to compete internationally. This is how FI-MAC was born, precisely recognizing the importance of these emerging technologies and seeking a real boost from the SMEs of Macaronesia to improve their competitiveness and internationalization capacity.
