On October 24, M-ITI had the pleasure to host about 40 members of the Senior University of Funchal. The Senior University is a partner with the University of Madeira and was founded in May 2007. The USF (Universidade Sénior do Funchal) is aimed at people over 50 years old and its main purpose is to improve their life quality, giving them not only space for personal and social appreciation, reinforcing their role in society but also, learning throughout life.
At the beginning of the visit, Sergi Bermúdez i Badia presented the work being developed at the Institute with a short introduction. Later on, the NeuroRehab lab researchers explained and demonstrated their work. Many of the visitors had the chance to interact with the activities.
