Barbara Pizzileo, Invited Assistant Professor at Madeira-ITI, attended the Notte Rosa 2011 event where she was awarded a special mention for talented women in Apulia region. The event took place in June in Otranto, Italy. The Notte Rosa (Pink Night) event is dedicated to the dissemination of the role of talented woman in technical-scientific areas, and awards women coming from Apulia (as representative of south Italy) who distinguished for their merit in research. Barbara Pizzileo was one of the six winners of this year's edition.
