Madeira ITI research on the design of observation resistant non-visual passwords featured on Engadget and ZDNet. The work, a collaboration between Andrea Bianchi and Dong Soo Kwon of KAIST, South Korea and Ian Oakley of M-ITI, looks at how password entry can be made more safe by using vibration and sound - information that is inherently immune to visual observation.
