What does M-ITI do?

M-ITI is an innovation institute operating in the interdisciplinary domain of human-computer interaction encapsulating contributions from computer science, psychology and design in order to address and engage in important scientific and technological challenges that are both relevant to society and have significant economic impact. M-ITI is involved in education, at masters and PhD levels. Together with Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Madeira, M-ITI offers a professional Masters dual degree in Human-Computer Interaction (MHCI). M-ITI offers a PhD in Networked Interactive Cyber Physical Systems and a PhD in Digital Media.


What is the nature of M-ITI institution?

M-ITI is an independent non-profit R&D organization whose founding members are the University of Madeira, Madeira Tecnopolo S. A. and Carnegie Mellon University.

M-ITI cooperates in the Digital Media PhD program created under the partnership between the University of Porto (UP), the New University of Lisbon (NOVA), and the University of Texas in Austin (UT Austin). For more details and applications check our website.
