We are happy to announce a new book by our faculty, Prof. Pedro Campos, together with Prof. Manuel J. Fonseca and Prof. Daniel Gonçalves, on designing user interfaces, a book in Portuguese that is aimed at becoming the standard textbook for HCI courses in both Portugal and Brazil.
The book describes principles, practices and techniques that can be successfully applied to the design of any interactive application.
With a strong focus on concrete examples, the book also grounds its concepts on the theoretical foundations of HCI that allow a complete knowledge about the different stages of the iterative user interface design.
