The exciting program was created through the partnership between the New University of Lisbon, University of Porto and University of Texas in Austin, TX, USA. It is a 4-year PhD program, which is aimed at students with a Masters degree (2nd cycle Bologna or pre-Bologna) in the areas of information / communication sciences, multimedia, interactive design and all scientific and technological digital media areas. Digital media is an area that is rapidly growing and has gained increasing importance in our daily lives.
The Digital Media PhD program aims to train researchers, academics and leaders in innovative processes, to enable them to conceptualize and development digital products and services, taking into account target audiences, contexts, and goals relevant to several distribution channels.
