M-ITI, as an associated laboratory of LARSyS (Laboratório Associado em Sistemas de Robótica e Engenharia) was evaluated by FCT- Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia as Excellent. The final classification not only reflects the recognition of the scientific merit but also brings a substantial increase in funding awarded competitively to research units by FCT.
