The European Commissioner for Research, Science and Innovation, Carlos Moedas, visited M-ITI, on April 21, 2016. This visit was part of “Roteiro da Ciência”, where Carlos Moedas visited the most prominent research institutions in Madeira.
During the visit, there was a showcase of M-ITI's projects, where Mr Carlos Moedas liaised with M-ITI’s researchers, students, and faculty.
"This is one of the most inspired things I've seen in my life" said Mr. Carlos Moedas, about the Rootlo project.
